Our worship services are diverse in nature, utilizing lay members of our congregation, guest speakers from the greater community and occasional visiting Unitarian Universalist ministers and leaders. Community dialogue sometimes follows each speaker, as well as coffee and informal conversation. Each year, we hold a special Christmas and New years service. A flower communion is held each spring and a water communion each fall. Pagan / Earth-centered services are also held at least four times a year. Many of our services feature talented professional musicians, instrumental or vocal, including members of the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra. The Good News Jazz Band visits us annually, as well.

SUMMER SERVICES 2010 Sunday July 4: 7:00pm - 8:00pm, Anishnawbe Mushkiki Centre, 29 Royston Court (behind Lakeview Presbyterian Church). Ed Prinselaar will coordinate the service with Teresa Magiskan, Coordinator of Spiritual Healing. Sunday July 18: 3:30pm - 5:00pm, Thunder Bay Art Gallery exhibit of the work of Frank Big Bear of Minnesota and some of Norval Morriseau paintings from the permanent collection. Del Dickey will coordinate the service with Vivian Alexander, Education Director of the Art Gallery. Sunday August 1: 10:30am at LUF Rev. Julie Stoneberg. Picnic at Morrison camp from 3:00-6:00 pm. More details on the picnic at a later date. Sunday August 15: 7:00pm - 8:00pm, St. Paul’s Anglican Church - the labyrinth. Hanusia Tkaczyk will be the service coordinator. If you are in the vicinity of St. Paul's Church this summer stop to look at the labyrinth and enjoy the lovely garden at the side of the building. Sunday August 29: 3:30pm - 5:00 pm. Thunder Bay Historical Museum “For Better or Worse, A Celebration of Matrimony” Wedding photographs and clothing dating back to the 1800’s. Coordinator to be announced.
