We at LUF, along with other Unitarian Universalist congregations, believe that social responsibility and service are an important part of worship and our spiritual lives. We currently have a number of groups involved in projects, including those listed below. If you are interested in further information, please check the church bulletin board, or contact us at lufship@tbaytel.net for further information. If you have an idea about starting a group of your own, please share it with us as well.

Adopt A Highway - Bob Manson

Volunteers For Shelter House (Thunder Bay Food Bank) - Bob Manson

LUF prepares and serves the meal at Shelter House on six sundays a year. Anyone interested in becoming involved in this social justice activity six times a year ( 4th Sunday of February, April, June, August, October, December) can contact Bob Manson 683- 3016 or Angie Albers 251- 0476. Time commitment is approximately is 4 1/2 hrs (10:30 AM- 3:00 PM).
