Upcoming Services & Events

Our worship services are diverse in nature, utilizing lay members of our congregation, guest speakers from the greater community and occasional visiting Unitarian Universalist ministers and leaders. Community dialogue sometimes follows each speaker, as well as coffee and informal conversation.

Each year, we hold a special Christmas and New years service. A flower communion is held each spring and a water communion each fall. Pagan / Earth-centered services are also held a few times a year. Many of our services feature talented professional musicians, instrumental or vocal, including members of the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra. The Good News Jazz Band visits us annually, as well.

Title: Let Your Life Speak
Service Leader: Rob van Wyck
Speaker: Rev. Suzanne Wasilczuk
A Vocation.  An avocation.  One’s life’s work.  Just a job.  A life-long hobby.  Frederick Buechner suggests that our vocation – what it is we are called to do – is, ideally, at the spot where our own deep gladness meets the world’s deep hunger.  To what have we – individually, and as a congregation – been called?  Where might we find our deep gladness?

What Should We Do About Archaeology?Service Leader: David Belrose
