 | I’m excited and honoured to be a part of such a great community. I’m a native to Thunder Bay and I absolutely love this place, although I doubt my choice to live here every January. Brrrr. A bit about myself… I took forestry at Lakehead University, I love art, the outdoors, gardening, climbing, food and I teach and perform modern hoop dancing.
As the administrator, I receive the emails that are sent to lufship@tbaytel.net, answer the phone, assemble the OoS, the newsletter, the weekly E-Updates and other general clerical duties. I welcome all LUF members to introduce themselves, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any questions/ concerns. But if you ask me about god, or the meaning of life, I might start asking you questions.

 | In 2005, I moved to Thunder Bay, ON in pursuit of an Intermediate/Senior education degree. I have since taught Kindergarten, Intermediate and Secondary school in a couple of Northern Ontario First Nation Communities, and am currently casually employed as a child and youth worker with Dilico, education assistant with Lakehead Public Schools and as relief cook at the Salvation Army Men's Hostel. I am a voracious reader of just about anything, love pets, theatre, and singing, and am an ardent advocate for the environment.
As the Coordinator of Religious Exploration with the Lakehead Unitarian Fellowship, I am honoured to have the opportunity to develop and apply my skills, knowledge and experience in the field of human services towards celebrating and endorsing the principles and sources of the Unitarian Universalist faith. Thank you for the opportunity to share and articulate the UU faith, and contribute to developing communities of people interested in seeing the Earth as wondrous and sacred place in which all forms of life are honoured, revered and nourished. |
