Today we celebrate this unique blend of the pagan worldview and Christianity as practiced in Ireland prior to the enforcement of Rome's rule in the 6th century. Rooted in the wonder of the natural world, it is gentle, generous and poetic. Music of Marianne Wahl's Celtic harp will round out the service.

Trees and forests are part of our cultural heritage. For many of us, trees and forests offer experiences of holiness and connections between the past and the future generations. Our feelings towards forests include both joyful and fearful aspects.
